PURSUIT : THE POINT OF NO RETURN This tactical training programme
re-enacts a fatal foot pursuit incident, which could have been avoided by following
correct tactical procedures. Seven stop-action vignettes present quick-decision
situations which generate effective discussion between partners, fellow officers
and supervisors on the subject of correct foot-pursuit procedures. Safe containment
procedures are examined with a special emphasis on behavioural patterns of fleeing

SHOOTING The programme examines a fatal incident in which
two officers were killed confronting a barricaded shooting/murder suspect. A training
re-enactment emphasises the key elements of proper planning and 4-Cs, i.e., control,

WILL
TO SURVIVE It is a dramatic re-enactment of a near fatal tragedy
in which two Officers are involved in a deadly battle with three suspects. Actual
radio transmissions relayed at the time tell the story of their survival. This
programme is designed to make each officer that survival is really up to the individual.
Tactical training helps reduce the risk of confrontations but when an officer
is down only a strong will to live will bring him through. | 15
